Welding Supervisor

**FDS Foundation Drilling Services Inc.** is looking for a hands-on Welding Supervisor at our facility in Innisfil, Ontario, to maintain and repair deep foundation drilling tools. Best quality tools, solid workmanship and quickest response times ensure FDS’ customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**

Inspecting, repairing, and servicing of FDS’ rental inventory of drilling tools, casings and associated equipment (casing oscillators and power packs)
- Supervising and directing welders and labourers
- Completing inspection reports using phone app
- Completing detailed work reports on the work done
- Maintaining consumables stock levels for work shop
- Loading and unloading trucks using FDS’ wheel loader
- Cleaning casings and drilling tools using pressure washer
- Maintenance on hydraulic casing oscillator, clamps and power packs
- Organizing yard to optimize logistics
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and service companies
- Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines
- Resolve problems by providing creative and practical solutions
- Report to management on progress and issues

**Requirements**:

- Self-starter, organized and neat
- Experienced welder for drilling tools, casings and kelly bars repairs
- Experienced supervisor for welding and fabrication on site
- Detailed knowledge of welding procedures and materials
- CWB certificates are preferred, but not a requirement
- Wheel loader, forklift or 0-8t crane ticket
- Working knowledge of standard computer programs
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- supervising: 1 year (preferred)
- foundation drilling tools repair (augers, kellybars): 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CWB certification (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
