**How does the role impact the organization?**

Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a Branch Administrator Associate for our Cross Border subsidiary in our Vancouver office.

Working directly with the Raymond James (USA) Ltd. (“RJLU”) Supervision Team, this individual will support the RJLU Branch Managers (“PCG”) business operations in Canada, acting as the primary point of contact for FINRA-registered Financial Advisors and Sales Associates who manage U.S.resident client activities. In addition, the individual will be responsible for maintaining a strong working relationship with the carrying firm, Pershing LLC, to ensure optimum support on day-to-day activities and issues as well as integration of future product releases. This role will include assistance with respect to related Projects and Supervision initiatives as assigned.

**What will your role be responsible for?**
- Review Margin details for margin calls and money due;
- Send IRA distributions notifications;
- Daily trade reviews - download on spreadsheet, separated per BM and sent BM their individual blotters in the morning;
- Separating Reverse Churning list of clients (received once every six months) to BM specific list and forward onto BMs;
- Ensuring cheque and cert logs are sent and ensuring they are correct prior to sending them to the BM for approval;
- Work closely with and troubleshoot problems for US New Accounts Department
- New account opening spreadsheet for managed accounts;
- Inform FAs of W8/W9 alerts for expired, incorrect or missing tax forms and other forms;
- Review ACHs in work basket and let the BMs know when it’s ready for approval;
- Review Account Maintenance in Work Basket;
- Upkeep of trade correction;
- Assisting BMs’ with marketing reviews;
- Ad Hoc projects

**What do we expect from you?**

**_ To qualify for this opportunity you possess:_**
- A university degree or equivalent BA and two years of industry experience in an asset management capacity;
- FINRA SIE course Required;
- 2 years of financial services brokerage industry experience (preferably as a Cross Border Sales Associate or Cross Border Sales Assistant);
- US New Account Opening experience
- Effective and confident interpersonal, communication and telephone skills to interact with Associates at all levels: Financial Advisors, Sales Associates and Sales Assistants and senior management;
- Experience with Pershing NetX360 system;
- Superior oral and written communication skills;
- Initiative and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment;
- Proven organizational and time management skills sufficient to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks with frequently changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment;
- A high level of customer service in a calm, courteous and professional manner;
- Appropriate interpersonal styles and can communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels;
- Willingness to obtain other necessary US (FINRA) licensing exams within a reasonable timeframe
