**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

Stinson is looking for a strategic communicator who wants to have an impact

Reporting to the Accounts Director, you will be client-facing where you will listen, discuss, tease out what the client really wants, and then turn it into a story. You take complicated information and distill it into something less complicated and easier for consumption. You bring the client's communications to life

You can generate clear concise copy, and think strategically about communication, language, and details. You're an imaginative writer with an eye for detail who is deadline-driven and flexible.

This job is perfect for you if you are someone enthusiastic who can see both the big picture and all the little details that go into it.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Speaking and consulting with clients, problem solving for them by asking strategic questions
- Tell stories and build presentations for a variety of clients in a variety of fields
- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy utilizing different writing styles that appeal to various target markets
- Creating original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
- Brainstorm and manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables
- Create effective internal and external communications strategies for our company
- Work closely with the team to develop copywriting strategies
- Maintain the company's values and adhere to the company's style guide

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- BA degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or similar field
- 1+ years experience in copywriting, preferably with an agency
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and G-Suite
- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
- Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
- Strong attention to detail
- Applications with a portfolio of work is an asset

**Work Location**: Downtown Toronto
