Meat Cutter/butcher

You will prepare customer orders, wholesale orders, and prepare all cuts of meat for the retail counter. Our meat cutters also assist customers with special cuts and cooking recommendations.
- meat cutters and butchers may be required to work at both our locations. 40 Chisholm Ave in St. Albert and #175, 4211 106 street NW in Edmonton. Presently, we have an immediate need at our St. Albert location and a casual need at our South Edmonton location.
- cut beef, pork, lamb, and chicken carcass in primal, sub-primal, and retail cuts
- cuts and prepares meat products for display using knives, saws, and grinders
- stuff, mix, package, and label sausages and other meat products
- receiving and rotating products
- cleaning and sanitizing of work areas
- demonstrates customer service in a professional and courteous manner
- stocking various meat products to shelves
Qualifications:
Retail meat cutting experience required
Professional Meat Cutter certificate from a recognized post secondary institution is an asset

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
