Cayuga, Canada Ruthven Park National Historic Site Full time

Assist the Stewardship Coordinator with various tasks and duties regarding the trails and natural landscape
- Support special stewardship run events such as Bug Night and themed trail hikes
- Tend to the gardens
- Assist with bird banding when necessary
- Assist in the facilitation of school programs and educational programs
- Assist with and participate in the planning, preparation and running of museum special events
- Provide support to Ruthven Park’s Visitor Services team through delivering historic house tours, light museum administration work, assisting with admissions, and other tasks as assigned
- Represent Ruthven Park at offsite outreach and educational events.
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience working/volunteering in children’s and/or youth environments
- Comfortability with teaching and presenting to groups
- Current First Aid and CPR training (Considered an asset)
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to work well both independently and in a team setting

**Funding for this position is through Canada Summer Jobs.**
