- **Urban Dirtworks Inc**_. is a well-established multidisciplinary heavy construction firm operating out of Sylvan Lake, Alberta. We specialize in underground water and sewer installation/replacement, bridge culvert installation, residential subdivisions, commercial site development, large industrial infrastructure projects, drainage ditching, and road/highway construction.

Urban Dirtworks is looking for an experienced self-motivated Full Time _**Project Manager **_with strong leadership and communication skills to join our team. You will organize and oversee multi construction projects from start to completion, and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This role encompasses overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of all projects.
- **Job duties include but are not limited to**:_
- Plan, direct and manage activities of assigned projects to ensure that company objectives for customer satisfaction, safety, quality, production, revenue and profit are met within a prescribed time frame.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress, and take corrective action as required to manage schedule.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with the owner, Field Construction Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinator.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Attend contractor meetings including: pre-construction, progress, milestones, completions and other critical activities as appropriate.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Oversee the project site(s), and correspond with the owner and Project Manager as necessary, to review the job requirements and overall progress of the work.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
- Liaise, consult and communicate with managers, engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, on adjustments to cost estimates and operations.
- Adhere to company and project(s) safety policies & procedures.
- **Requirements**:_
- PMP or equivalent certification
- 3 to 5 years construction management
- Superior leadership qualities with a demonstrated track record of dealing successfully with internal and external clients
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and forecasting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Achievement oriented with strong personal drive and negotiating abilities
- Ability to independently perform technical tasks quickly and accurately
- Understanding of the civil construction process and safety regulations and requirements
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, project specifications, contracts, bid documents, and quantity take-off
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Commitment to working in a team environment and good team-building abilities
- Proficient in various relevant software programs, including MS Office
- A valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
