**What you will do**:
The Education Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of nursing and other learners each year at TOH.

The coordinator will liaise with the academic Institutional coordinators and the Hospital coordinators to ensure all mandatory requirements are met, will maintain a Learning management system and electronic registration system that will track all learners and ensure they are prepared to commence their clinical rotations. The coordinator must ensure all learners of The Ottawa Hospital are aware of hospital policies and that they abide by them.

The coordinator will work with the education teams on various projects focused on continuing education (teaching and learning) for clinical staff. Knowledge or experience in nursing direct patient care and planning and/or leadership is an asset.

The coordinator will support the Manager of Nursing Education and the Education office to promote, support, and integrate academic initiatives within the hospital environment.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Post secondary education in community college with business/secretarial/communication diploma;
- Experience within a healthcare environment;
- Customer service skills - courteous and respectful;
- Social media proficiency;
- Excellent computer skills:

- Ability to type at speed with accuracy;
- Good knowledge of iProcurement;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
