Saskatchewan Blue Cross®, one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers, is currently recruiting for a full-time permanent **_Manager,_** **_Project Management Office_** to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This position offers the flexibility to participate in hybrid options based in our Saskatoon or Regina office.

**JOB FUNCTION**

The Manager, Project Management Office is responsible for overseeing the PMO’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that programs, projects and sustainment initiatives are executed efficiently and align with the company’s strategic objectives and annual business plan. This role provides leadership, oversight and support to the project teams to ensure successful completion of initiatives. This position will report directly to the SVP, Chief Technology Officer.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead, manage and oversee the Project Management Office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Develop and implement PMO strategies, methodologies and policies
- Provide leadership and direction to project managers and teams to ensure effective outcomes
- Standardize and improve project management processes, tools and templates
- Ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined, or require dynamic change management in order to deliver business value
- Lead and advise team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the project. Provide recommendations on any possible changes needed based on current project status
- Perform ongoing review of project status; identify and provide recommendations on possible project risks, and implement risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate
- Support change management and work with teams to integrate organizational change management activities into the overall project plans
- Analyze project scope to make recommendations on estimated time frames and appropriate processes for accomplishing work
- Implement project communication plans and ensure continuous, clear, concise, and timely communication with respect to decisions and changes
- Foster a culture of continuous development and process improvement within the organization
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s in Business, Applied Management or a related field with several years progressively responsible experience in Project Management. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered
- 5+ years of project management experience with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory accountability
- Extensive experience in Agile project management methodology is required
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMI, Prince II or Agile) is required
- Extensive experience utilizing Jira is required
- Skilled in identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada on an unrestricted basis
