We are looking for an **Independent Contractor - Junior Behavioural Consultant** to join our team to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Developmental Disabilities in the Lower Mainland area.

The position offers working from home and requires travelling to client homes and other service providers regularly. As a Junior Behavioural Consultant, you will be working with children up to 18 years old, their families, and their network as part of a team.

**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
Assessing the client using assessment tools.

Conducting an ecological assessment with family.

Developing a Behaviour Plan of Intervention based on assessment results.

Developing individualized ABA-based intervention programs that are based on assessment results and grounded in evidence-based practices.

Researching literature in order to implement current, research-based interventions.

Designing data collection protocols using the most informative data collection method.

Prepare supports and materials.

Collaborating with the inter-disciplinary team for program development and implementation.

Providing training to behavioural interventionists, parents, and caregivers.

Providing on-going training, and evaluation of Behavioural Interventionists

Conducting ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the program through data review and analysis.

Leading team meetings and collaborating with the families and network.

Communicating with all team members in a timely and professional manner both in
- person and electronically.

Maintaining professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

**Qualifications that we are looking for include**:
Working towards or have a MASTERS DEGREE in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related educational background.

Working towards BCBA certification.

Working towards qualification as a RASP Level A or Level B consultant

Having extensive experience working as a BI and SBI with multiple children under the age of 6.

Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an asset).

Proficiency in clinical writing is essential, including the ability to produce clear and accurate client reports.

Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively.

Completion of a recent Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

**Requirements of an Independent Contractor include but are not limited to**:
Having your own computer, printer, and internet.

Access to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Google Docs.

Driver’s license, and reliable vehicle (mileage is not reimbursable).

Submission of invoices monthly. Please note that independent contractors are paid on an hourly basis. Number of hours vary per client.
