**Opportunity**
- PCRS is seeking experienced drivers to transport children and youth involved with the Ministry of Children and Family Development in Surrey/White Rock, Delta and Langley. The driver will be responsible to pick up and return children from visition and potentially other events. The driver may need to stay and oversee at times - for example if the youth if playing soccor. This is an on-call position with hours of operation between 2:30pm - 7pm Monday - Friday, and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a schedule of availability for on call work, (On call pay will be provided during scheduled on call hours).
- Transport and oversee children and youth as required. (Hourly Rate applies)
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain safe driving procedures
- Maintain good communication and excellent record keeping.
- Agency vehicle may be available and use of own vehicle also may be required.

**Qualifications**
- 5 years driving experience with Class 5 license and clean driver’s abstract
- Must submit a drivers abstract
- Valid First aid certification
- Experience working with children and youth
- Criminal record check including the vulnerable sector,

**Additional Assets**
- Some post-secondary education related to the field such as Child and Youth Care or Youth Criminal Justice OR a combination of education and related experience working with vulnerable children and youth.
- Ability to respond to crisis scenarios using agency protocols and
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
