Change and Transformation Lead

The Change and Transformation Lead will be responsible for driving high priority initiatives and strategic engagements for the Data Science function of Aviva Canada. In this role you will work closely with the VP of Transformation, Delivery and Data Governance, the CDO, Data Science Leadership team, and with key stakeholders across the company to deliver Data Science’s strategic mandate and maximize the impact to customers and the organization. The Change and Transformation lead will also be responsible for spearheading strategic projects, acting as a trusted liaison to the business and working in both individual and team settings to achieve stated goals.

What will you do?- Support the development of the multi-year roadmap alongside key partners to ensure initiatives are well-defined and sequenced appropriately, and interdependencies are managed effectively.- Oversee the ongoing execution across the Data Science portfolio of initiatives, whilst enabling the governance of the program via the appropriate cadence of updates to key stakeholders.- Develop materials that communicate the Data Science vision to ensure all teams and partners aligned and motivated towards the DS vision and future roadmap.- Develop the execution roadmap alongside key stakeholders and executives, including the project prioritization, intake process and identification of key execution risks.- Support recommendations on how to manage the delivery portfolio, with an oversight of timelines, resources and key issues related to ongoing execution.- Builds effective relationships across DS and the wider organization.- Influences and negotiates across the business to achieve organizational objectives, ensuring alignment between stakeholders.- Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.

What do you need?- Undergraduate degree, MBA is an asset but not essential- Five or more years of related experience, working in a delivery focused environment- Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize various ongoing initiatives- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and present documents and visuals to convey messaging and opportunities at the executive level- Ability to negotiate and influence- Capability to work collaboratively, build relationships, succeed in a team and work independently- Ability to exercise good judgement in making decisions- Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines-
- Experience with Agile methods and tools is an asset but not essential
