Canadian Rockies Rafting is looking to hire a Class 2 Bus Driver for the summer of 2024. Drivers are responsible for driving guests to and from river locations, picking guests up and dropping them off in Canmore, and keeping to a set time schedule.

Our Drivers don't just drive, they play a role in supporting our tours. This involves checking customers in, ensuring customers have all the correct equipment needed for the tour, and support river staff.

We are have two start dates available for this role. One in mid-May and the other in June. We can be flexible when in June.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience driving commercial vehicles
- Confident in driving and reversing vehicles with trailers on a variety of road conditions
- Prior experience within a customer service role
- First Aid certification an asset (minimum 20 hours).
- Class 2 driver’s license with clean Drivers Abstract
- Attend staff training and complete required familiarization for driving routes.

**Duties**
- Competently drive on all routes operated by Canadian Rockies Rafting
- Ensure all vehicles have the required equipment set out by Canadian Rockies Rafting to ensure guests safety
- Daily vehicle inspection, maintenance and completion of log book
- Assist Tour preparations
- Will conduct themselves in a professional manner to ensure a high standard of customer service
- Employee is responsible for maintain professional appearance including self and company equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-5 months

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Canmore, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 2 Licence (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
