**Job Summary**

Behind every team is a strong supporting Laborer. A project management and flood team can be extremely effective and communicative by collaborating to complete daily tasks. Laborer’s will be learning every day on a variety of different tasks, such as how to complete a clean demolition and minor flood technician work. Remember, the most important question a laborer can ask is, “What’s next?”.

**Responsibilities**:

- Removing construction materials and taking direction from staff.
- Maintaining a neat and orderly company vehicle, if assigned.
- Working collaboratively with all departments applicable to the role.
- Communicating with customers, field team and project management team members and co-workers.
- Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in detail on our project management app, Restorify.
- Completing your timecard daily on ADP.
- Adhering to PPCR’s health and safety policies.
- Assisting in preparing the work area, including site protection of unaffected areas, moving contents, and cleaning debris.
- Helping set up and transport flood-related equipment, such as pumps, vacuums, hoses, dehumidifiers, etc.) and following instructions to ensure proper placement.
- Assisting in water extraction using proper equipment under the guidance of flood technicians.
- Removing damaged materials, including different baseboards, door casings, drywall, insulation, and flooring.
- Detaching bifold doors, interior doors, exterior doors, sliding doors and sliding doors with a mirror.
- Helping with the setup and monitoring of drying equipment, such as dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Collecting and disposing of debris generated on site.

**Job Requirements**
- A valid drivers’ license with a clean abstract.
- Participation in our on-call shift rotation.
- Ability to lift industrial fans weighing roughly 30 - 40 lbs.
- Ability to load and unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers weighing 130 - 140 lbs.
- Passing a criminal record check and a driver’s abstract check based on our approval.
- Attention to detail.
- Collaborative, communicative, and strong listening skills.
- Providing great customer service.
- Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment.
- Construction and or restoration experience is considered an asset.
- IICRC WRT certification is considered an asset.

**Compensation**

**Wage**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

**Position**:Full-time
