Growers Supply Company Limited, a long-established supplier of agricultural and irrigation products is currently seeking a motivated, assertive individual who has a strong background in accounting as an **Accounts Receivable** at our Kelowna Head Office location.

**The Role**
- Working independently and within a team environment to reconcile daily invoicing of multiple locations and agreeing invoicing to prior day’s data.
- Support internal financial statement preparations by ensuring the month end duties are completed on a timely basis.
- Balance daily A/R reports to the General Ledger to ensure accuracy of data.
- Receive incoming payments and use accounting program to post all payments, payment transfers, and debit notes.
- Prepare price and inventory adjustments for claims and invoicing.
- Investigate overdue outstanding accounts and contact customers to collect on overdue balances.
- Investigate any unallocated cash receipts to ensure payments are applied to the correct customer account.
- Print Customer Statements to our online system for customers to access.
- Maintain accurate and orderly files and records.
- Assist Office Managers with various ad hoc duties.
- Assist with Reception and front of office work as required.
- Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Post-Secondary in Accounting or related field considered an asset
- Aptitude for numbers and strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be clear and concise
- High level of patience and ability to deal under pressure
- Able to work well with all types of people with different personalities, cultures, and customs
