**What we offer**:
We are camoIT, an IT company located in Cambridge, Ontario. We offer complete IT solutions - from design and installation to security and support. We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator/IT Administrator to oversee all IT functions within our valued customer portal. In collaboration with the senior leadership of the business, you will create the IT strategic road maps to assist projects. You will manage the company’s technology operations, policies and procedures to meet the company objectives. The IT Administrator will use their technological skills to contribute to camoIT Solutions technical team. In this role, you will investigate current systems and assets, make recommendations, design comprehensive configurations (as needed), and deliver solutions and considerations to our clients.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Present yourself as versatile, flexible, and courteous with a winning attitude
- Ensures the ongoing protection and integrity of the information systems and technology assets (Backups, Firmware, Security)
- Develop, enforce, and manage IT policies, standards, documentation, and business processes
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware and software
- Track and maintain the IT infrastructure (hardware and software) inventory
- Manage relationship with contracted Third-party IT service provider
- Own IT projects and solutions within the business; responsible for leading all IT projects through project life cycle

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Computer Science or Technical Training
- Minimum 5-years’ experience in the IT field
- 3-years or more in leadership or management in an IT setting
- Experience with (MS Exchange, Active Directory, server platforms, ERP solutions in a global market, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.
- Network Configurations: LAN, VLANs, Layer 2 and 3 Switching, Firewalls, VOIP etc.
- Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
- Experience managing internal resources and multiple external outsource IT vendors
- Experience in all phases of IT project management lifecycle
- Strong creative and analytical thinking skills (required)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$38.70 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- IT: 5 years (required)
