**Aladin Childcare Services offers educational childhood programs to children from birth to 12 years of age,**

**operating at four different locations in Ottawa.**

We are looking for kindergarten staff to join our extended day program at our 2240 Russell Road location.
Registered Early Childhood Educator preferred.

**Responsibilities**
- must meet the needs and supervise a group of kindergarten children.
- implement age-appropriate education in line with the provincial curriculum, “How _does Learning Happen?”_

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- Early Childhood Education diploma and in good standing with the CECE, or the equivalent (students welcome)
- post-secondary studies, diploma or degree in child-related studies
- pertinent experience working with young children in a group setting
- the capacity to work well in a team
- strong verbal, reading, and written skills in English, knowledge of French is an asset
- negative criminal records check for the vulnerable sector completed in the last 6 months
- valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C and anaphylaxis training
- up-to-date immunizations, including 2 COVID-19 vaccinations, WHMIS and Health and Safety training certificates

**Duration and salary**:

- part time position, (average of 22.5 hours per week), covering a Leave of absence starting February 6, 2023)
- hours are 7:30AM-9:00AM and 2:30PM-5:30PM on instructional days / 7.5 hours on non-instructional days (PA days, school holidays, entire summer)
- salary is according to the current pay scale, starting at $26.15 an hour. Please note, there is an additional $2.00 per hour currently being paid on hours worked, in the program
- benefits package including vacation, Health, Dental, and Vision plan, and personal time
