**Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

Qualifications:

- RECE from accredited college, CPR C, first aid, vulnerable sector check
- Leadership skills to effectively guide and manage a classroom of young children
- Experience working in a childcare setting, preferably with early childhood education background
- Bilingual skills, particularly in French, are a plus
- Proficient in computer operation for administrative tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Note: The ability to Frenchify or computerise is not relevant to the Early Childhood Teacher position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
