**Details**:Full time, Days, 30 hours per week, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, 3-week rotating schedule

**Schedule**:
**Week 1**: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday

**Week 2**: Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

**Week 3**: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

**Pay Scale**:$18.15 - $23.10 per hour

**Location**:McQueen Place Lodge, 10938 -142 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 2P8

**Typical Duties**

**Kitchen duties include**:

- Baking a wide variety of items, including bread, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods.
- Food preparation, portioning, and labeling.
- Cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas, and equipment.
- Dishwashing.
- Preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
- Peeling and chopping vegetables.

**Dining Room duties include**:

- Greeting the residents with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Serving meals and beverages to the residents.
- Setting and clearing tables for meal service.
- Assisting residents at the buffet table as needed.
- Conducting meal attendance checks and ensuring all residents are properly served.
- Performing other site-specific duties as assigned.

**Experience/Education Preferences**:

- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
- Baking in s commercial kitchen setting is required.
- Experience in food preparation is required.
- Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred.

**Other Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner.
- Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner.
- Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

**The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19**

**Salary**: $18.15-$23.10 per hour
