Who we need:
Reporting to the Campus Registrar, and will take direction from the Manager of Student Services. The Enrollment and Records Officer is responsible for processing student admission files, processing student registrations, and ensuring the accuracy of the student academic record. This position administers and assists with providing services to students, in alignment with our corporate strategic imperatives. Specific responsibilities include: process transactions on the student record, process documents such as transcripts and enrolment letters, and assists in the auditing of the student academic record for graduation requirements. Contributes to a working environment where all team members can be their best selves, grow and thrive, to support our corporate mission of championing student success.

What you will do:

- Processing student requests as assigned, including course or section changes, student re-entry, status changes, general student enquiries.
- Responsible for tasks related to academic progression and course registration as assigned.
- Completing graduation audits, confirming students have fulfilled all program requirements.
- Initiating and supporting students in completing forms necessary to fulfil graduation requirements.
- Issuing transcripts upon completion.
- Liaising with other departments as required to fulfill a graduate audit.
- Updating student records (contact information, address information, health insurance records etc.) as required
- Proactively contacting students and problem-solving issues such as academic probation, attendance check, grade appeals, culture shock and using good study habits.
- Assist the Student Activity Coordinator in the delivery of student events and activities.
- Assist the Program Advisory team in contacting students as required.
- Providing general support and assistance as directed by management.
- Other duties may be assigned as required and are not limited to tasks above.

What you bring:

- 1-2 years’ experience of related experience in providing customer service and/or clerical support, preferably in an education environment.
- Experience with a student record system (e.g. Banner) or similar computerized system preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent ability to pay attention to detail and enter data accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure, dealing with a constant flow of enquiries and provide information, assistance, and related services to the public, faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Ability to investigate and listen to solve problems and provide solutions.
