**GENERALIST ANIMATOR**

Are you a generalist animator with a talent for creating fun and entertaining content? Are you interested in being part of an exciting multiplatform kids ecotainment property? You could be the perfect fit for our innovative studio.

**What You Will Do**:

- Use existing assets to create animated short form video content in Adobe Animate (Flash) and others.
- Create animated videos to support social media, marketing, and audience engagement objectives, releasing across multiple platforms.
- Work with Production, Writers, and the Social Media team to brainstorm creative ideas and approaches to animation.
- Collaborate with the design team to call out new assets or character poses for production.
- Deliver finished videos in accordance with delivery deadlines.
- Test out and document new animation processes/ pipelines.

**What You Will Bring**:
You have an undergraduate degree in and/or relevant experience in design and animation.

You can take direction, work independently, and hit deadlines, adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple deliverables. You have a strong understanding of design and animation pipelines. You have a clear, proactive communication style and are not afraid to ask for support when needed.

If you have a familiarity with the social media landscape, in particular the kids’ space is an asset.

You have a mid-to-advanced level of experience with the Adobe Suite (Adobe Animate especially, but Adobe AfterEffects is a bonus).

Based in Vancouver, WSS works at the intersection of storytelling and technology to build franchises for the global marketplace, producing in all mediums including interactive, film, series (live action and animation), Roblox and mobile apps. To expand its’ media footprint and content offerings, WSS partnered with Productivity Media co-producer and financier of high-quality original film and TV content for the family and the adult market.
