Position SummaryThe Whistler General Manager is responsible for providing leadership to our team, building a strong shop culture, achieving our KPIs of customer service, revenue and profit and building our brand within the local community.This General Manager position is a hybrid sales / operations role. The most important part of the General Manager role is to help promote a productive environment, setting the team up for success to ensure we are delivering legendary service to our customers and partners. More specifically, you will be responsible for leading a team of Team Leaders and Ski Technicians in their roles of delivering ski and snowboard rental equipment to our guests. This includes scheduling future shifts, ensuring equipment is up to our brand standards, consistent coaching for the team and managing our P&L. You will also be responsible for growing the business through local sales with hotels, property management companies, concierges and more. This position is a full time, seasonal position.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and will excel in a flexible, fast-paced work environment. Someone who has management experience and who understands what it means to go above and beyond. Someone who views themself as a leader and who is passionate about providing every single one of our customers exceptional service, every time.Essential Duties: Pre-season shop set up Weekly scheduling to hit demand and customer service goals Hands on coaching with Team Leaders and Ski Technicians Weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports and managers Weekly resourcing reports Maintaining quality of equipment Equipment warranty and repair Inventory management Auto management Local sales to grow our current partners, close leads and build our brand within the local community Desired Qualities: Strong, confident, and professional communication skills Detail-oriented Ability to accept and deliver necessary feedback Polished writing skills are a plus Previous management/ leadership experience Previous sales experience is a plus Compensation: Competitive base salary, bonus eligibility and benefits To learn more about Ski Butlers, click on the resources below.
