**About this role**:
As a Funeral Director at Scott Funeral Home - Mississauga Chapel, Remembrance Services Inc. you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful support to families on their end-of -life journey by overseeing and directing all aspects of funeral services, including: filing death certificates, maintaining online obituary listings, performing decedent embalming and providing assistance during the execution of funeral services.
Located in the Great City of Mississauga, home of the OJHL Mississauga Steelheads, NBA G League 905 Raptors - but above all - home of Arbor Memorial's only Mississauga location: Scott Funeral Home - Mississauga Chapel, Remembrance Services Inc. Our funeral home is a location that is truly "A Shining City on a Hill", providing the finest funeral services through functional facilities and finessed family care. We have the distinct honour and privilege of serving more than 300 families annually.

**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent & Part Time, Permanent
**Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities**:
- Possesses a Funeral Directors license.
- Displays proven, superior arrangement, directing and embalming skills.
- Passion for customer care demonstrated in previous professional experiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner will all levels of the organization.
- Exemplifies Arbor’s values of compassion, integrity, trust, teamwork, belonging and excellence.
- Excellent knowledge of Funeral Home procedures and business practices including Funeral Home Procedures Manuals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license.
**Responsibilities**:
- Arranges, coordinates and directs funeral ceremonies.
- Meets and surpasses the needs and expectations of the families we serve.
- Maintains active involvement within the community and is committed to building and establishing effective relationships and rapport.
- Supports the Funeral Service Department’s vision of technology integration by understanding the role technology plays in the funeral home’s success.
