We are currently recruiting for **Carpenters **to join the team at the **Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant**

**This position is in Calgary, AB and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.**

Shift is 5 days on 2 days off - could involve some Saturdays

**AS A CARPENTER, YOU WILL**:

- Build forms for concrete
- Cut, shape, and join
- Look for and fix deficiencies
- Building of hoarding and other temporary structures
- Checks accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
- Studies blueprints for work planning
- Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete
- Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
- Acts as a work leader and mentors to apprentice carpenters
- Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
- General site upkeep

**CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
- ESC Fall Protection - considered an asset
- Hold a Journeyperson Ticket or be a Registered Apprentice
