The Accelerator Centre is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as the Manager, Acceleration Programs. This role puts you at the forefront of the tech ecosystem, executing programming and working directly with our portfolio of high potential startup and alumni companies.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Inc**ubation** & **Acceleration** P**rograms**
- Work with partner organizations to design the delivery processes for acceleration programs
- Manage the team of coordinators assigned to deliver programming
- Responsible for the metrics collection and reporting required for government funding involved in the programs
- Manage the relationships with various partners providing startup services
- Responsible for managing mentor and multi
- stakeholder meetings with founders
- Design and implement new processes to improve program efficiency and client experience for acceleration programs and train team members and mentors on new processes
- Offer programming and event recommendations to senior leadership based on observations and client conversations
- Provide support and leadership to cross organizational teams/projects providing input from a programming and client perspective

**Venture Studio Program**
- Work with partner organizations to design the delivery processes for the Venture Studio Program
- Responsible for the metrics collection and reporting required for government funding involved in the program
- Manage the relationships with various partners providing startup services
- Lead the Project Management of the Venture Studio Program

**Client Engagement**
- Develop a transition plan including key metrics, project management methodologies, and tools to enable new staff within the client engagement team to be successful
- Consistently and proactively meet with entrepreneurs within acceleration programs to develop a deep understanding of their needs
- Create and execute tracking metrics to determine the success of startups going through acceleration programs
- Build strong working relationships with and advocate for clients and encourage their success using internal tracking processes and monitoring client activity and engagement
- Responsible for all Client Experience and Initiatives within the Acceleration and Venture Studio Programs
- Includes finding, deploying, managing and maintaining all customer experience platforms and tools

**DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing exceptional customer experiences for clients or industry partners and administering programs by implementing process-driven initiatives
- Post-secondary education in business management, operations, event management, related discipline, or equivalent business experience
- Experience managing teams
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Conducts business in a professional manner at all times, leading by example with a positive team attitude in all aspects
- Excellent organizational, trouble-shooting, and interpersonal skills
- A self-starter that can work under mínimal supervision and can juggle multiple projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Regular travel between all AC facilities is required

Bonus points if you:

- Prior startup experience is an asset
- Has an understanding of the startup life cycle
- Has used HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- Experience using Learning Management Systems
