X-ray Technician

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, on patients in minor emergency
setting
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper radiation protection measures are taken
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed

**Requirements**:

- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Previous experience working in an ER or urgent care setting
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and related software
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations with composure

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
