Trader (Banking Book)

**Job Summary**:
Banking book trading, executing transaction orders for efficiency of bank’s funding usage, and fulfilling intra-day liquidity management purposes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for conducting money market transactions such as interbank loans and deposits, bond investment, commercial paper (CP) issuance, etc.

2. Manage intra-day cash flow, and ensure all key intra-day liquidity indicators are in compliance with internal limits and regulatory requirements.

3. Execute FX Swap and Interest Rate Swap transactions according to the Bank's asset-liability position management requirement.

4. Fulfill the risk control and compliance requirements.

5. Responsible for the accuracy of trading data.

6. Broaden and maintain relationship with internal and external trading counterparties.

7. Collaborate with related entities from front to back office accordingly.

8. Train fresh staffs and related business units.

9. Provide market information to business units accordingly.

10. Other tasks assigned by superiors.

**Requirements**:

- With at least 5 years of working experience in banking or financial industry, familiar with the inter-bank market products: loans, deposits, bond investment, liquidity management, FX Swap, Interest Rate Swap, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of business practices and principles of money market, well understanding of currency hedge, duration hedge, liquidity risk management.
- Self-discipline can follow internal and external regulations and rules.
- Advanced working knowledge of PC skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), basic knowledge of trading terminals (Bloomberg, Reuters), and ability of system usage learning.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or equivalent will be an advantage.

- banking or financial industry: 5 years (preferred)
