Toronto, Canada Gaucho Pie Co Full time

As a Dough Maker at Gaucho Pie Co, you will play a crucial role in our bakery's daily operations by preparing, shaping, and sheeting dough to create a variety of delicious baked goods (empanadas, and other pastries). Your expertise with a dough sheeter will be essential in maintaining our high standards of consistency and quality. Your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare dough according to established recipes, paying meticulous attention to ingredient measurements and mixing techniques.
- Operate and maintain dough sheeter equipment to create uniform sheets of dough for various products.
- Skillfully shape and cut dough to meet specific requirements for pastries, bread, and other baked goods.
- Monitor and regulate oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate closely with the baking team to ensure seamless production and adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following sanitation and hygiene guidelines at all times.
- Assist in developing new recipes and improving existing ones, leveraging your expertise in dough preparation.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to dough consistency, texture, and quality.
- Contribute to the overall success of the bakery by sharing insights, ideas, and suggestions for process improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
