**Job Duties**

**Specific Tasks/Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with the develop, plan, and execution of summer programs, special events and related to Gwen Secter Creative Living Centre
- Assist with the promotion and marketing of Summer programs
- Ability to lead programs such as fitness classes, discussion groups, art projects
- Assist with the outreach initiatives targeting isolated seniors
- Support the growth and execution of in person events.
- Assist with social media and documentation of programs
- Support the work of the Executive Director and the Program Coordinator as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with seniors and/or in a non-profit setting
- Experience with social media
- Experience with graphic design programs and other digital platforms as asset
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to work closely and collaboratively with a wide range of people and in a small office
- Experience working with seniors, Board members, volunteers, and donors.
- Must be in good physical and mental health to meet the position demands.

This position is being advertised under the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) initiative. The position will run until the end of August 2024. To be eligible for this position, you must be between 15 and 30 years of age on the start date of the job. You also must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a refugee under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. You must also be legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations.

Pay: From $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
