Based in Kamloops, Arpa Investments Ltd. is an award-winning real estate development company that specializes in multi-family developments (some mixed use). We are growing rapidly and are looking to add members to our team that would like to grow with us. As such, we currently have openings for skilled labourers that have experience in new construction. We pride ourselves in creating a cohesive team environment where all employees are valued and have the opportunity for growth and advancement.

Arpa Investment Ltd.'s past projects include Yew Street Food Hall, The Colours on Spirit Square, Bright Eye Brewing, and The Station on Tranquille. In addition to our completed projects, we have recently started Thompson Landing on Royal, a riverfront condo development on the North Shore.

Our Skilled Labourers are expected to perform tasks that require a more experienced skillset. From using tools to working closely with trades and subcontractors, our skilled labor team will be handling more delicate and/or more complex duties.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Perform various tasks on site as directed by Site Foreman & Project Manager
- Use tools, power tools, or machinery as needed
- Attend safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations to better understand the safety aspect of each site
- Measure and cut materials as needed, help with hands-on installations, perform spot checks and deficiency checks on finished sections of the site, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for yourself and others
- Assist in labour activities, provide guidance to general labourers, and ensure quality control
- Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide assistance to other tradespeople on site

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, heavy-duty machinery, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye to identify issues or problems before they arise
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness and ability to perform the required tasks (lifting, carrying, moving materials up to 60 lbs)
- Punctual and reliable
- Can work well independently or as part of a team
- Valid Drivers License

**Compensation and Benefits**

**Salary**: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
