Dental Administrative Assistant
Toronto North Periodontics is a warm friendly environment with a great team that seeks a skilled and dedicated dental administrative assistant to join our team As a dental administrative assistant you will work with our periodontist and will help to provide quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with dental office administration, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient operation of the dental office
- perform front desk duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental administrative program preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software (e.g., adstra management) for record keeping and scheduling appointments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
