**Fabricator**

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of couplers and value added parts. Successful applicants must have a superior work ethic, excellent time management skills, a positive attitude, capable of working alone or in a team environment, able to follow instructions and committed to safe work practices.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Creates layouts, tacks & welds parts together.
- Ensures product and material meet tolerance/quality standards.
- Operates forklift and crane - no need, we will provide training if needed
- Records process sheets and daily work orders.
- Fabricates various components, this includes forming, cutting, grinding, shearing, bending and other operations required to produce our products.
- Assists mill operator.
- Maintains a clean, uncluttered and safe work area as designated.
- Records process sheets and daily work orders.
- Performs all other work activities as assigned and required.

**Education and Knowledge Required**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent mature student diploma with good skills in reading, writing and math.
- 1+ years experience fabricating and/or industrial experience.
- Forklift operators certificate. would be an asset.
- Safe operation of power equipment.
- Ability to understand metric and imperial measurements.

**Experience and Technical Skills Required**:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be a team player willing to take direction and suggest efficiencies.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawing or blue print.
- Heavy lifting might require
- up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate CNC and manual machines.
