**1 ‑ Casual ‑ Cardio Technician**

**ECG**

Reporting to the Manager, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Cardiac Diagnostics, the Cardio Technician is

responsible for completing Electrocardiograms (ECG's) for both inpatients and outpatients in all areas of the hospital.

Qualifications:

- Must be a Registered Cardiology Technologist with the CSCT or enrolled in BCIT Cardiology Technology Program
- Must obtain RCT designation within 3 years

Skills/Abilities:
MUSE
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (electronic, oral and written)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interprofessional team environment
- Excellent problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking skills
- Must possess good communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Assets:

- 12 Lead ECG course/training

Salary Range: $29.780 to 34.040
