We’re looking for a** **QA Automation Specialist **to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As our QA Automation Specialist, your top priority is to ensure that we ship the highest quality products to our customers. You will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions to discover issues as early as possible in the cycle in order to ship software continuously.

**Skills**

Traction Rec'rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

- Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in a QA Automation role for a SaaS product
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
- Accuracy and excellent attention to detail - you catch things
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technically minded with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional development team
- Personable and empathetic - you will need to understand and feel for our customers
- Highly motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently
- Bonus points if:

- You’ve worked in nonprofit, community centers.
- You’re a results oriented person who likes to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
- You’re energized by continuously delivering value to customers.
- You’re confined only by your imagination, not your job description.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Collaborate on defining test scenarios for new functionality and writing, testing, and executing automation test suites with a Java Selenium Webdriver stack.
- Work in a cross-functional development team to ensure the code you write is maintainable, efficient, reliable and reusable, as part of our software development life cycle
- Identify, record, and clearly document discovered bugs through manual and automated testing
- Make data driven decisions to improve processes within our QA practice

**Compensation**

At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.

The starting salary band for this role is $75,000-$85,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience and skill level.
