Yard Attendant

Eckville, Canada Central Alberta Co-op Ltd. Full time

Do you have a hands-on personality and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for temporary part-time **Yard Attendants **to join our team at the **Eckville Farm Centre **.

**Part-time**:24-36 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

**Availability requirements**:Weekdays and weekends
- mornings, afternoons and evenings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer service,
- Accurately receive inventory,
- Load and unload shipments,
- Prepare orders for delivery in a timely manner,
- Pick orders based on customer receipts,
- Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts,
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- Class 3 Licence with Air is an asset,
- Experience running a forklift is preferred,
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.,
- Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
