Regal Security is now hiring a Hospital Security Supervisor in the Greater Toronto Area.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Walking patrol of designated areas to observe and detect suspicious activity
Provide visual presence to deter prohibited activities
Respond to calls for security assistance as required
Enforce rules and regulations of the property and the legislation
Document incidents and activities in official reports and daily notebook
Respond to emergency situations based on established protocols (fire alarm, criminal activity, etc.)
Physically restrain and arrest persons as required by legislation
Monitor and observe patients as required to ensure the safety of themselves and staff
Assist patrons with directions or answering questions to the best of ability
Patrol exterior and parking levels
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following prior to an interview:
Valid Ontario Security License
Valid First Aid / CPR Certificate
Eligibility to work in Canada for a minimum of 1 year
Successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of security experience
Willingness and ability to complete required use of force training
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication

Ability and willingness to work in a Healthcare environment
Experience in performing security in a Healthcare facility for at least 5 years
Police Foundations or equivalent education experience
Availability to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, overnights), 7 days per week in a full-time capacity
Willingness to work shifts that require extended periods of standing and walking ;
Willingness to wear protective apparel for duration of shift times (face mask, face shields, gloves, and gowns)

**COMPENSATION**:
Pay rate will be $19.42 per hour
Health Benefits are available for full-time employees upon completion of 3 months probation
