Position Description:
**At a Glance**

**What Will You Do?**
- Responsible for maintaining uninterrupted production flow or high-quality products in the most economical way within the manufacturing limits.
- Fairly administer company rules and policies.
- Regularly educate employees in safe working processes, environmental compliance issues, personal health and safety issues, and general housekeeping conditions.
- Provide leadership for quality within the group. Is accountable for the total quality environment.
- Promote cross training and continuous improvement for all employees to:

- Provide a greater depth of knowledge per average employee.
- Create more flexibility on all levels of the manufacturing process.
- Ensure existence and use of safety devices and equipment.
- Accountable for meeting production plan, and in doing so, plan and control the efficient use of manpower, machines and other resources to meet and continuously improve upon established standards.
- Assure equipment and tooling is routinely and preventatively maintained.
- Assure a clean and safe working environment.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications:
**Required Skills**:

- B.S. degree in business or technical discipline.
- Minimum five years in a production environment.
- Minimum of two years effectively leading others.
- Minimum 1-year LEAN manufacturing experience.

**Preferred Skills**
- BS in engineering preferred.
- Strong data (KPI) driven supervisor, a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Provide guidance, development and motivation to staff to achieve superior results and accomplish overall business objectives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified workload.
- SAP/ERP knowledge for production execution desired.
- Be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
- Foster open communication and support an environment of innovation and creative change.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
