**Key responsibilities**:

- Follow up on the critical ETAs, updating lead-times, pricing, etc.
- Follow up for the confirmed PO’s and ensure their due dates are accurate.
- Represent the purchasing team in the various meetings and lead purchasing team meetings.
- Answer various questions about price increases, lead-timed, etc.
- Manage purchasing ECN’s and request when necessary.
- Open NC’s and follow up with them in a timely manner.
- Manage the quarantined inventory and when necessary, touch base with the vendors to issue credits or replacements.
- Coordinate and support industry-standard compliance activities, including reviews, audits, and monitoring, to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Investigate and respond to procurement and contracting compliance risk issues.
- Contribute to process development and improvements to support the company’s objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties/special projects as assigned.

**What you bring to Ampco**
- 3+ years’ experience in Purchasing, including strong knowledge and exposure to compliance.
- University degree or diploma in Supply Chain or related field considered an asset.
- Good problem-solving skills. Be able to think on your feet, show initiative and provide helpful solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize a busy workload with time-sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and driven.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Highly organized and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
