Instrumentation Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the management of day-to-day operations of daily maintenance, planned maintenance and construction scope of work
- On call scheduling and provide back up if required
- Ensure quotes and bids are co-ordinated with the electrical department for full scope work as needed
- Mange ABSA and QA/QC with full documentation
- Ensure Instrumentation tickets are approved prior to billing
- Assists, supports and/or directs larger projects
- Mentor apprentices and lead by example while creating a team atmosphere
- Identifies, interviews and hires new Instrumentation employees
- Responsible for the overall technical and quality output of their department
- Monitors costs, scheduling and productivity with bid projects
- Monitors inventory, non-chargeables and purchase orders for the instrument department
- Participates actively in safety meetings and safety culture
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas OH&S guidelines
- Attends, participates and documents in on-site project meetings
- Ensures compliance with federal, provincial and local regulations and standards
- Support the Electrical or Measurement departments as required
**Requirements**:
- Journeyman Instrumentation certificate
- Minimum 5 years experience in an oil and gas setting
- Strong people skills
- Knowledge of the electrical field
- Current safety tickets including First Aid, H2S, CSO
- Hold a current class 5 Drivers License in good standing
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong Multi-tasking and Time Management skills

**Salary**: $110,000 - $140,000 per year depending on experience
