As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of accounting principles will be essential in ensuring accurate financial records. **Responsibilities**
- Semi monthly payroll and annual T4 filings, records of employment
- Government tax remittances of payroll, HST, corporate tax, WSIB
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable duties
- Reports for management to aid in cash flow administration
- Year end file preparation for the company’s accountant:

- Analyze accruals for appropriate balances at year end
- Analyze P&L for missing or incorrectly coded expenses
- Provide back up for capital expenditures

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism

**Other**:

- Reporting to: Office Administrator
- Work closely with the office assistant
- 20-30 hours a month

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
