**Job Description**:
As a Clinical Psychologist at Fairmarc Psychology Centre, you will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapy to a diverse range of clients. We prioritize understanding each individual's unique needs, empowering them to develop effective coping strategies, gain self-awareness, and achieve positive transformations. In collaboration with our experienced professionals, you will have the autonomy to tailor treatment plans, ensuring a personalized and impactful approach for every client.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based interventions and utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, ensuring a safe and nonjudgmental space for open dialogue and healing.
- Foster a client-centered approach, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychotherapists, social workers, and dietitians, to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of psychology through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing treatment plans.
- Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups.
- Experience working with individuals with eating disorders is highly desired and will be considered an added bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build strong therapeutic alliances.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
