The St. Michael's Hospital, Department of Family and Community Medicine operates a progressive community based Academic Family Health Team. With collectively over 75 physicians and nurse practitioners and a large team of allied health providers, our team is committed to providing comprehensive interdisciplinary patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team of health professionals on the leading edge of new and innovative patient care delivery models. The Psychologist will provide individual and group counseling for patients of the Family Health Team in collaboration with other mental health services including a Psychology Training Clinic offered in collaboration with Ryerson University. This position will require 1 evening per week to provide accessible care to patients. This is a 0.8 part-time position.**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Doctoral level degree in Psychology, preferably with 3 years clinical experience
- Current and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- Demonstrated skills to work with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based assessment, treatment, and consultation in a primary care setting
- Expertise in a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive and behavioural therapies, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance-based treatments, or motivational interviewing
- Expertise working with a wide range of populations (ideally adults, adolescents, and children) with problems such anxiety-related disorders, trauma, mood disorders, substance use disorders, conduct difficulties, and personality disorders
- Demonstrated strength in consultation, teaching, interprofessional collaboration, and supervision of advanced learners (e.g., psychology practicum students and interns)
- Demonstrated ability to participate in research, teaching, service development, and program evaluation Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment are essential
- Demonstrated working knowledge/experience with computers
- Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality record
- Experience and interest in working with disadvantaged populations who may experience barriers in accessing services
- Experience providing anti-oppressive, accessible care for patients and families
