Content and Media Specialist

**JOB SUMMARY**:
- To collaborate with communications and marketing colleagues in the development and execution of SE Health’s content strategy and social media story, while supporting business lines with communications needs as required
- To create and manage content and graphics that resonate with our target audiences and align with SE Health’s brand values
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Contribute to the development of a content internally and externally by**:
- Working collaboratively with the Communications and Marketing Team to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with SE Health’s goals and objectives
- Creating engaging content for various platforms, including social media, publications, newsletters, and websites
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and effective
**Take the lead on SE Health’s social media story, including**:
- Monitoring, collecting and interpreting data from SE Health’s social media platforms, tools, and sources to inform our communications and social media narrative
- Developing a social media calendar that includes the diverse activities from SE Health business lines across the organization
- Writing impactful stories and content that resonate with SE Health’s target audiences
- Summarizing social media insights to share with the larger Team, celebrate success and inspire increased focus and quality of all social media content
**Support the diverse communications and marketing needs of the organization by**:
- Working together with our business lines across Canada to ensure our content, on all channels, reflects the larger SE Health narrative
- Collaborating with the Communications and Marketing Team to develop and execute communication campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement, and advocate for SE’s brand vision, strategy, and positioning, ensuring consistency and adhering to our brand guidelines and communications best practices
**Graphic and media production**:
- Design visually appealing, ‘people first’ graphics, infographics, and other multimedia content to enhance the impact of our SE Health story
- Bring your creative ideas on packaging communications for SE Health’s target audiences
- Assist with photography and video production as required
**Communications and Marketing**
- Content creation and strategy
- Social media listening, monitoring, and posting
- Support the diverse communications and marketing needs of the organization

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
- Two years’ experience in content creation, media production or a similar role
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design software
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to produce compelling and engaging content for a variety of audiences
- Social media savvy with excellent knowledge of the platforms and the ability to develop and lead a social media strategy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with photography, video, and editing is an asset
