Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for meal preparation, assisting in food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for menu items following standard recipes
- Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food is prepared and served according to food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate order preparation

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures used in professional kitchens
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
