**What You Will Do**

**Supplier Management**:

- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new suppliers to meet the needs of our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing suppliers, acting as the main point of contact.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and supply conditions.
- Implement supplier performance evaluation measures and work with suppliers to resolve any performance or quality issues.

**Quality and Compliance**:

- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all suppliers meet regulatory standards.
- Coordinate supplier audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Quickly resolve any quality issues with suppliers and implement corrective action plans to ensure continuous improvement.

**Inventory and Supply Chain Optimization**:

- Monitor and manage supply levels to ensure uninterrupted production, especially for critical materials and ingredients.
- Work closely with procurement to forecast demand and adjust supply schedules as needed to avoid disruptions or overstocking.
- Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste and lead times while maintaining product quality.

**Risk Management and Problem Resolution**:

- Identify potential supplier-related risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve conflicts or issues that arise with suppliers, ensuring mínimal impact on production timelines and quality.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and risks affecting the pharmaceutical supply chain.

**Reporting and Data Analysis**:

- Prepare reports on supplier performance, cost savings, and supply chain efficiency.
- Use data analysis to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; training in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in supplier relationship management or supply chain management, ideally in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in ERP software and management tools.
