Role Summary:
To support the Engineered Systems Department with technical documentation. In addition, assist to complete all drawing requests and correspondence from Drafting and Engineering personnel.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the completion of project-specific engineering documentation as directed by Project Manager.
- Assist in transmittals, letters, and memos for release packages.
- Assist in filing drawings, correspondence, shop orders, and systems files.
- Assist in compiling manuals for Systems, and make copies (electronic and hardcopy), as needed.
- Assist Engineering Department and Pump Division with drawings as needed.
- Retrieve documents for reference and fabrication and release.
- Follow-up on drawing commitments ensuring on-time delivery of same.
- Ensure all manuals, final drawings, cut sheets, etc. are in customer’s possession as acknowledged.
- Review and respond to special order requirements by compiling and preparing appropriate documentation for submission to customers. This task ranges in scope from single-page certificates to major documents compiled over the life of a project.
- Address order requirements consistent with prepared plans and independently prepare supporting documentation for customer acceptance.
- Various clerical duties involving organization and maintenance of customer shop order files, completion of reports, agendas, memos, etc for the Engineered Systems Department.

**Requirements**:

- Actively pursuing an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial).
- Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to produce measurable results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and Continuous Improvement environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

- Knowledge of rotating equipment is helpful.
