**NCSG Hauling and Rigging **is currently looking for a
**Transportation / Permit Coordinator** to join our team in Calgary. This is a brand new, full time permanent position that will work closely with our Clients, Field and Operations members on a daily basis.

As a Transportation / Permit Coordinator you will be responsible for dispatching, pulling permits (including 3rd party), pre-planning and scheduling both standard and over dimensional / overweight loads across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. This role requires a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to adapt and make decisions on short notice changes.

**Your success will be defined by your ability to**:

- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices including NCSG’s Life Saving Rules, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Assisting scheduling and dispatching trucks, trailers and personnel to meet customer needs;
- Identify dimensions and weight per load, obtain wire lifting permits with subsequent communications confirming details;
- Identify axle loadings, dimensions and weight per load, obtain wire lifting permits with subsequent communications confirming details;
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly equipment schedules as per operational requirements;
- Build schedules that minimize equipment downtime and maximize efficient/ effective use of resources;
- Adapt and overcome unexpected changes to loads, scheduling or crews in an efficient and deceive manner;
- Communicates effectively - and in a timely manner - with internal field crews and external stakeholders;
- Assist client personnel in day-to-day activities;
- Scan / file documentation as required;
- Assisting in other administrative requirements as needed;
- Attend relevant planning meetings as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience within the Transportation and Logistics industry required;
- Previous experience organizing freight transport required;
- Previous experience working with and/or pulling permits for Alberta required;
- Experience pulling permits for over dimensional and/or overweight loads considered an asset;
- Previous experience working with and/or pulling permits for British Columbia and Saskatchewan considered an asset;
- Proven attention to detail required from previous experience;
- Previous dispatching experience considered an asset;
- Ability to adapt and prioritize daily responsibilities due to ongoing changes in business demand as required;
- Ability to work a Monday-Friday scheduled shift required;
- Ability to work a rotational on-call schedule during evenings and weekends required;
- Due to the nature of this position, in office presence is required.
