We’re looking for a Psychotherapist who is a member of either the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, the Ontario College of Nurses, The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario or The College of Psychologists of Ontario with a minimum education at the Master's level and post-graduate certifications to support child and adolescent psychotherapy.

Here is what we are looking for:
- A master's level therapist who is registered with either OCSWSSW, CRPO, CNO, COTO or CPO in good standing.
- Evidence of clinical experience as a psychotherapist, providing counselling and psychotherapy and with specialized skills and training to work children and adolescents and their families.
- The ability to build rapport with clients quickly and help them feel at ease, creating solid therapeutic relationships.
- An understanding of the unique challenges inherent in providing psychotherapy in a private practice setting.
- An interest in learning about the business of therapy and a willingness to work on enhancing your profile in the community and building your own referral network.
- The ability to commit to 15-25 clinical hours per week with the ability to allocate administrative time in order to produce quality, ethically sound documentation.
- A high ethical standard and a commitment to taking responsibility for adhering to professional and business ethics as an independent contractor.
- Someone who prioritizes quality clinical supervision and ongoing growth of your skillset as a therapist.
- The self-awareness to stay on top of your own mental health by attending your self-care and your own therapy when needed.
- Knowledge of the use of technology such as Jane Practice Management Software, Microsoft Office, Google Business and other platforms that support online therapy and practice management.
You have a passion for working with children and adolescents and their families in order to support optimal functioning, to improve self-esteem, and to develop their skills in navigating the challenges that face them.
If you are a seasoned therapist, with specialized, post-graduate training and experience there is also opportunity to work as a Clinical Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral level degree with current registration and liability insurance.
- Proficiency in therapeutic approaches focussed on child and adolescent therapy such as Play Therapy, Theraplay, Expressive Arts Therapy, Music Therapy CBT, DBT, ACT, Clinical Supervisor training.
- Evidence of participation in regular consultation and professional development.
