**Background**
The Erin Mills Soccer Club (EMSC) is a non-profit organization in Mississauga, established in 1972. It
offers indoor and outdoor soccer programs. It is known as the Home of the Eagles and has a 20,000
- square-foot indoor facility. EMSC has 1,500+ members, 200+ coaches, and volunteers and holds the
Quality Soccer Provider designation from Canada Soccer. It has won six national championships and 53
Ontario Cup titles. EMSC is dedicated to developing soccer at all levels in a safe environment.

**General Overview**
As part of the Marketing team, this position assists and supports where needed. It manages all aspects
of social media, promotions, event planning, and daily administrative duties. The role is deadline
- driven and time-intensive and requires energetic, highly motivated multitaskers who are exceptional
communicators and organizers and thrive on delivering high-quality customer service.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Design and present social media campaigns and newsletters
Monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
Develop social media strategy that improves brand recognition and increases ROI
Leverage social media statistics and best practices to identify areas of improvement
Support the marketing team with daily administrative duties
Assist with all aspects of planning and executing events
Capturing League & Program photos for content creation and enhanced member value
Maintaining and updating the website regularly
Other tasks as assigned

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**

Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution (preferably Event Management/Business
Program)

Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and
Experience with video editing software for collection and creation
Experience with design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of Products
Strong time management and proficiency skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to multi-task
Must have a valid G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
Must be able to work Monday - Friday afternoon/evenings and some Saturday mornings
Working knowledge of PowerUp Sports and OSCAR is an asset
