**Summary**:
Founded in 1985, Adaptall is a manufacturer and **s**upplier of Hydraulic Metric/British Fittings & Adapters with facilities in Pickering and Mississauga, Ontario; Houston, Texas; and Twinsburg, Ohio. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for all blueprints adhering to industry standards, all product conforming to blueprints, and the operation and calibration of measuring tools in order to maximize overall quality and minimize non-conformances.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operates and calibrates measuring tools, such as CMM (Keyence), calipers, go and no-go thread gauges, height gauges, surface roughness testers, etc.
- Liaises and communicates with Engineering Manager and CAD designer(s) to ensure blueprints adhere to industry standards and correct/revise drawings accordingly.
- Ensures “first off” conforms to drawings and co-approves further production. Provides recommendations to Engineering Manager and Machinists to correct non-conformances, replace tooling, etc.
- Performs periodic/spot inspections of parts throughout the day.
- Produces Inspection Reports for all jobs in production utilizing CMM.
- Document and maintain calibration records of all measuring devices.
- Utilizing CMM, perform data collection and analysis (SPC) of machines, tools, and operators as it relates to quality and as needed.
- Assists with PPAP reports when required.
- Minimize scrap and defects.
- Liaises with Technical Support in order to rectify defects discovered in the field.
- Completes non-conformance reports for internally produced defective parts.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- 3-5 years minimum experience in similar role
- Post-secondary degree or diploma and/or relevant work experience in the field
- CAD/CAM experience (Autodesk Inventor). Must be able to read blueprints at the very least, with ability to modify drawings a plus.
- CNC machining experience
- Proficient with manufacturing measuring devices
- Advanced in MS Office suite, emphasis on Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player and exceptional communicator
- Extreme attention to detail
- Procedural and principled, especially as it relates to adherence to standards.

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
