Canada Health Infoway is also working with Health Canada, the provinces and territories, and industry stakeholders to operate and maintain PrescribeIT®, a national service that enables prescribers to electronically transmit a prescription to a patient’s pharmacy of choice. This service is already reducing the use of paper prescriptions, enhancing patient safety, improving continuity of care and facilitating better health outcomes for Canadians.

**Position Purpose**:
As the Vice President, Business Transformation, you will provide executive leadership and oversight of the successful delivery of the digital health interoperability roadmap and portfolio delivery.

You play a key pivotal role in driving the execution of multi-year shared pan-Canadian Interoperability roadmap and collaborating with our jurisdictional partners in the implementation of interoperable healthcare systems and technologies, enabling seamless data exchange and integration across various healthcare entities, using national standards and approach.

Your expertise in healthcare transformation and business workflows, interoperability, program management, technology, business operations, stakeholder alignment and people development will be essential in achieving our organization's goals of facilitating improved care coordination and enhanced patient outcomes.

This position requires a seasoned executive with a deep understanding of both business and technology, along with a proven track record in successfully driving large-scale digital transformation projects within the healthcare industry.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and oversight in the overall vision and the execution of the Digital Health Interoperability business plan. Specifically, you will lead business transformation portfolio which includes the following functional areas of focus: Strategy & Program Management, Product Excellence & Partner Management, National Conformance & Compliance, and Architecture & Development
- Oversee the development and implementation of the pan-Canadian digital health interoperability roadmap.
- Oversee and mature the product and service portfolio management processes, including product selection, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
- Oversee development of Program stakeholder strategy and plan.
- Oversee design and implementation of Infoway’s national conformance program
- Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, technology vendors, standards organizations, and regulatory agencies.
- Foster strong relationships and partnerships to support the successful implementation of interoperability initiatives.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders to establish and align on goal-setting, priorities, and execution.
